Leticia Romero added to her ever-growing collection of personal accolades with the title of MVP at U20 European Championship Women 2015 in Teguise, Lanzarote.
The 20-year-old point guard led Spain to their fourth gold medal at this level in the last five years, as she averaged 12.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Romero capped another outstanding tournament with 22 points in the final as the hosts avenged their 2014 U20 gold-medal game defeat with a 66-47 success against France on Sunday.
It is the second time Romero has claimed MVP honours at a European youth event after inspiring Spain to gold at U18 European Championship Women in 2013, the final victory there also coming over France.
She has also been named in the All-Star Five at three previous European youth championships as well as at the U17 World Championship for Women in 2012.
Romero was joined on her latest All-Star Five by Spanish team-mate Laura Quevedo, who tallied 12 points and 5 rebounds in the victory against France.
France won all eight of their games leading up to Sunday's final and were rewarded with two players in the All-Star Five.
Marine Johannès and Aby Gaye represented the silver medalists on the team following several dominant displays on their way to impressive averages of 12.3 and 10.6 points per game respectively.
Emese Hof completed the five, after leading Netherlands to their first-ever top-flight European basketball medal. Hof led the Dutch with 14.2 points per game to go with 7.2 rebounds and came up with some crucial plays down the stretch during the third-place play-off against Russia on Sunday.
Serbia's Dragana Stankovic picked up the Fair Play Award as she embodied the spirit of basketball and sportsmanship, even in the heat of competition.
